Daddy Freeze reveals two things that need to be fixed in order to stop the impending famine in Nigeria.

Diligent Ifedayo Olarinde, often known as Daddy Freeze, is a well-known media figure in Nigeria who has warned of impending starvation in the nation.

According to news reports, Daddy Freeze announced this in a video message posted on his social media pages.

He said that if Nigeria doesn't export enough commodities to earn hard currency in return, the Naira will keep falling in value.

In order to fight the impending famine, he counseled Nigerians who were earning N50,000 a month in the cities to go back to their communities and start farming.

Additionally, Daddy Freeze pleaded with the government to help regional producers.

He said: “We will continue to see the decline in our currency because we are not selling anything and getting hard currencies in return. That needs to be fixed by two sets of people: the government and the citizenry.

“Citizens, if you’re working in Lagos and you’re earning N50,000 monthly, I think it is high time you went back to your village, got some land and started farming. There’s a looming possibility of a famine in this country. There’s not enough food to go around.

Based on my comprehension of the circumstances, I would advise you to: My Igbo siblings are constructing mansions to outdo one another in the hamlet.I'm not saying it's bad, but increase the number of factories rather than homes.

"You must expand your factory construction, and the government must help you. The government must take all necessary measures to ensure the success of your enterprises.

"And by business, I mean companies that want to export goods. Exporting anything you are making is a good idea. Milk from Denmark and France is imported by us. We are not limited to using oil. The government must assist regional producers.
